Memories

Splashes of water on our faces,
your resounding laughter...
You made me love you,
and then you left me alone on this stage called life,
with nothing but memories and this damn ring...

This was written for Trifextra: Week Seventy-seven.
On now to this weekend's Trifextra challenge.  This weekend we are giving you three words and asking for you to give us back another thirty of your own, making a grand total of thirty-three words.

Your words to work with are:

Am me everyday, who you is?

Japanese candles, doesn’t change the fact that when you lose someone, there’s a hole in your heart which can’t be filled, that represents where the person used to be, and no prayer or candle can change that. No matter how hard we try,  we are here and the person is gone, we are reminded of the inevitability of time and death, so  we hold on to the memories we shared with that person, the gift that we had a chance to meet an incredible person, a fit soldier, a loyal friend, my papilo, a light that can never be put out RIP Bernard Makinwa

 SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round, or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight, or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, Time is short, the music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly, when they ask "How are you?", do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed, with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow, and in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a friendship die, 'Coz you never had time to call and say 'Hi'?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, Time is short, the music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day, it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life is not a race, do take it slower, hear its music before the song is over.
